What is the difference between Files and a project's Files tab?
Files in the sidebar holds files that belong to the company as a whole. A project's Files tab holds that project's own files. They work the same way.
How large can an upload be?
Up to 100 MB per file.
I deleted a file by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes, for 30 days. Open the Trash tab and restore it. After 30 days, or after Delete forever, it is gone.
Can two people edit a document at the same time?
One person writes at a time. Everyone else sees the changes arrive as they are saved, with a note saying who is editing. Once that person stops for 45 seconds, or leaves, someone else can write.
Can I download a document as Word or PDF?
Yes. Choose Download in the document's bar, then Word (.docx) or PDF.
Can I attach a file to a task?
Yes. A document or upload from Files can be attached to tasks and stays in Files. Files put on the task itself are deleted with the task.
