Side by side

What each one does

We put a fact about Bitrix24 on the left only when we read it on its own pages, with the day we read it. Where we didn't, the left says so. Where a part of ours isn't built yet, it carries a star.

Mail, calendar and time

Mail on your own domainNot compared hereMailboxes on your domains, shared mailboxes, aliases, a catch-all address and server-side rules. One TXT record proves the domain, then the screen lists the MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to add and ticks each one when it finds it. Works in Apple Mail and Outlook too.
Calendar and time trackingNot compared hereA block on your calendar is the time record. There is no separate timer or timesheet: plan a task by dragging it onto the day, and once the block has passed it counts as time spent. Reports by project, client or person, and a CSV for your accountant.★
Timeline viewNot compared hereA project's Roadmap shows a lane for each person. Drag a task onto someone to plan it, stretch a bar to change its dates, drag it to another lane to hand it over. Work planned past its due date turns red, and the roadmap never moves a bar by itself.

Documents and files

DocumentsNot compared hereWord documents on real pages that the team edits together live, with coloured cursors, comments and @mentions. Download as .docx or PDF. An uploaded .docx opens in the same editor and saves back as a .docx, one writer at a time.
SpreadsheetsNot compared hereExcel files open in a built-in grid with sheet tabs, formulas and number formats. Saving writes your changes back into the same .xlsx. CSV files open there too.
PDFsNot compared hereHighlight, underline, draw, add text boxes and shapes, place a picture, fill in PDF forms. The marks are saved into the PDF itself, so any other reader shows them.

Sales and clients

CRM and dealsNot compared herePeople, organisations and deals on a pipeline board, with a forecast and win rates. One timeline per record gathers notes, emails, calls and texts, meetings, tasks and form answers. A won deal becomes a project. Company plan.
Phone numbers and callsNot compared hereNumbers, outbound calls and texts, logged on the person's record. Voicemail and call recording are on the way.★
Proposals and signingNot compared hereSend a document or PDF for signature. Signers need no account: they confirm their email with a six-digit code, and the sealed copy carries a certificate. Proposals use the same signing.
Client portalNot compared hereYou choose who at a client can sign in, which projects they see, and whether proposals and invoices show there.

Money

Invoices from tracked timeNot compared hereMark a project billable with a client and a rate, and the Bill sheet turns unbilled hours into a draft invoice, by project or by person. The same hour can't be billed twice. Invoices carry tax; recurring invoices and credit notes are there too.

AI and security

AIPlans mention AI for everyday work. Standard Vibe+ adds unlimited AI, voice to task, a chat assistant and meeting follow-up.Checked 14 Oct 2026 · sourceCord is built in and included for every person. It works across mail, tasks, files, CRM and invoices, and asks before anything that can't be undone.

The whole cost

What it costs, in money and in time

Bitrix24 is cheaper, and by a wide margin. These are both companies' own list prices for a small team, so you can see the gap and decide what the rest is worth. The other cost is the time spent running the thing.

AI

The AI that comes with each

Both products put AI in the plans. Here is what Bitrix24's price page says about its own, and what Cord does in ours.

Bitrix24

  • Basic and Standard list “AI for everyday work in Bitrix24”.
  • Standard Vibe+ adds unlimited AI, AI voice to task, an AI chat assistant and AI meeting follow-up.
  • Professional Vibe+ lists unlimited AI, AI repeated sales and AI automation agents.

Cord, in Coding Cords

  • Cord is built into the workspace and every person gets a monthly AI allowance with the plan. If someone needs more, AI tiers start at $8 a person a month.
  • Cord reads and acts across mail, tasks, files, documents, CRM, invoices, time and calendar, with the same permissions as the person asking. Every change shows as a card first, and Undo is there afterwards.
  • Anything that sends mail out, moves money or can't be undone needs a press and hold.
  • Any AI tool that supports MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Antigravity, can use the same workspace with its own key per person. The Vault stays out of reach on purpose.

Your own AI tools can work in it too

Any AI tool that supports MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Antigravity, can work in your company through a personal key, with your permissions and an audit trail. Tasks, time, files, CRM, invoices and mail search are all reachable that way. Revoking the key stops it at once. The Vault is left out on purpose.

Why people switch

What the day looks like with separate tools

Three moments in a working week, the way they go in one workspace.

Everything about one client

A quote went out, the client replied, a call happened and a PDF came back signed. In Coding Cords the client's record gathers the emails, calls, meetings, tasks, form answers and signed documents on one timeline, and the deal sits beside it.

Hours that become an invoice

It's the end of the month and the hours are scattered across timers and notes. In Coding Cords the calendar block is the time record, so the Bill sheet already knows which hours belong to which client and turns them into a draft invoice.

An assistant that knows the work

Ask Cord how many hours went into a client last month, or have it draft the invoice. It sees what you can open, shows what it will do before it does it, and asks you to hold a button before anything that leaves the company.

Fair to say

When Bitrix24 fits better

Bitrix24 is the better choice for some companies, and we'd rather say so here.

  • The price decides it. Standard is $99 a month for up to 50 people, billed yearly. Coding Cords costs more at 5 people and at 12.
  • You have a bigger team. Bitrix24 sells flat plans for 50 and 100 users, and larger tiers above that. Our price grows with each person.
  • You need apps from the App Store or Google Play★, a desktop app★ or offline work★. Today Coding Cords runs in the browser, on phones too.
  • You record meetings★ or calls★. Our meeting transcripts are English only for now.
  • You need single sign-on★ or SCIM★, or a vendor with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification of its own. We don't hold either yet.

Moving over

How the move works

You can move one part at a time and keep Bitrix24 running until you're ready.

  1. Bring your mail

Move each mailbox in from any IMAP provider or from an mbox file. Your domain stays yours: you point its DNS records at Coding Cords, and the screen checks each record.

  2. Bring your files as they are

Upload Word, Excel and PDF files. They open in Coding Cords' own editors and save back as the same kind of file.

  3. Bring your contacts

If you can export your people and companies from Bitrix24 as a CSV or vCard file, import them here and merge any duplicates.

  4. Leave whenever you want

Mail exports as mbox, documents as PDF or DOCX, and contacts, invoices and form responses as CSV. If a plan ends, the company turns read-only, so people can still read and export, and the data is kept for 30 days.

Questions

Questions people ask

Is Coding Cords cheaper than Bitrix24?

No. Bitrix24 charges one flat price for the company, and for teams of 5 and 12 it is well below what Coding Cords costs. The price table above shows both, with the day we read each one.

Then why would a team pick Coding Cords?

For how it works: mail on your own domain, calendar time that becomes an invoice, documents, spreadsheets and PDFs that open as the files they are, and an assistant included for every person. If price decides it, Bitrix24 wins.

What does Bitrix24's Vibe+ cost?

On the price page we read, Standard Vibe+ is $120 a month billed yearly for up to 50 people, against $99 for Standard. The page says a Vibe+ launch offer applies to 12-month subscriptions bought between 1 September and 10 December 2026, and that renewals bill at regular prices.

Is AI extra in Coding Cords?

Every person gets a monthly AI allowance with the plan. If someone needs more, AI tiers start at $8 a person a month. Unused AI doesn't carry over to the next month.

Which AI tools can work with Coding Cords?

Any AI tool that supports MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Antigravity. Each person makes their own key, and the tool can do only what that person can do. The Vault is left out.

Does Coding Cords have mobile and desktop apps?

Not yet. It runs in the browser, on phones too, and apps for Mac, Windows and phones are on the roadmap.

Why does the left side say “Not compared here”?

We put a fact about Bitrix24 in the left column only when we read it on Bitrix24's own pages. Where we didn't, we say so and leave it out.

What won't Coding Cords replace?

Your accounting. We send invoices and record expenses, but we don't keep the books.

Can the whole team try it first?

Yes. The trial is 14 days of the Company plan for up to 10 people, with no card. Phone numbers and Outreach are off during the trial.

Try it on your own work

Start with mail and one project, then bring the rest over when you're ready.
