Save logins, keys and secrets

Keep logins, secret sets, API keys, cards and secret notes in the vault, and move them between collections.

Updated

The Vault holds five kinds of item. The list on the left shows All items, each kind, and your collections.

Kinds of item

  1. Logins: a website's username and password, with a one-time code if you add one.
  2. Secret sets: environment variables, kept per environment (Development, Staging and Production to begin with).
  3. API keys: a key and where it's used.
  4. Cards: a payment card, with what it pays for.
  5. Secret notes: anything else to keep sealed.

Add an item

  1. Select New in the Vault's bar and choose a kind.
  2. Fill it in. It goes into your Personal collection unless you choose another.

Move or delete an item

Open an item's More menu:

  1. Move to puts it in another collection, and so in front of different people.
  2. Activity shows who opened, copied and changed it.
  3. Delete removes it for everyone who can see it. This can't be undone.
