Get back in after forgetting your master password

Nobody can see or reset your master password, so a forgotten one can't be recovered. You can start again with new keys, and an admin gives you back what was shared with you.

Start again

1. On the locked vault, select Forgot your password?.
2. Choose a new master password and select Start again.

Your items stay safe. Until an admin gives your access back, the collections shared with you show as Waiting.

Give access back (admins)

You need the recovery code saved when the vault was set up.

1. In the Vault's menu, open Recover access. It lists everyone waiting.
2. Enter the Recovery code.
3. Select Give their access back.

Each of their collections is then sealed to their new keys.
