Start or book a meeting

Start a meeting now, book one for later with email invitations, or set up a routine that repeats, with guests from outside your company.

Updated

Every meeting has its own link. People in your company go straight in; guests open the same link and need no account.

Make a meeting

  1. In Chat, open Meetings and choose New meeting.
  2. Choose when:
    • Now gives you a link to share straight away. Guests you add are emailed the link.
    • Later books a time. Guests get an email invitation they can accept, decline or answer with maybe.
    • Repeats sets up a routine. Each meeting picks up what the last left open.
  3. Give it a Title, choose the Length, and add People from your company and Guests by email.
  4. Choose Start meeting, Book, or Set up routine.

When booking, Suggested times shows when the people you added are free together.

Guests and the lobby

With Lobby on, guests wait until someone from your company in the meeting lets them in. Turn on One-time link if the link should work for one guest only.

Join

Open the meeting from Meetings or your calendar and choose Join. Guests type their name and choose Ask to join.

The meeting's chat

A meeting booked from a conversation keeps its chat there, in a thread, for the team to look back on. Guests can write in it while they are in the meeting but never see the rest of the conversation.
