Send and receive text messages
Text a contact from one of your company's numbers and answer their replies in Chat.

Text messages live in Chat. Each conversation is one of your company's numbers with one outside number.
Send a text
- Open the person in the CRM.
- Open the arrow beside Call and select Send a text.
- The conversation opens in Chat. Write your message and send it.
The text goes from the line you used last.
Replies
Everyone who has the number is in the conversation, so a reply reaches all of them and any of them can answer. From the conversation you can also call the number back.
If a text can't be delivered, a line in the conversation says so.
What a text can hold
A text is words only: no files, threads or mentions.
Texting in the US
US numbers must be registered with the carrier before they can text US numbers. Each number's carrier settings also decide whether it may text abroad.
