Set what Cord may do and spend
Turn Cord on or off, choose where it works, and set monthly and daily limits on what it spends.

On or off
The first card turns Cord on or off. Off, nothing is sent to a model and every suggestion stops.
What Cord may do
Every place Cord works has its own switch, in two groups:
- Suggests on its own: Cord watches and offers something, which someone accepts or dismisses. The numbers show the last 30 days: how many it showed, and how many were taken.
- When asked: Cord only acts when someone asks it to.
Open a row to give that place its own monthly limit.
Spending
Cord runs on the company's AI allowance. Sorting and search are free; answers, drafts, edits and transcripts are paid for.
- Monthly budget is the most the company spends in a month. Left empty, it's the plan's allowance.
- Each person, a day is the most one person's conversations and edits may cost in a day.
When a limit is reached, Cord waits until the next day or month. Details shows what was spent each day, and by place, person and model.
