Let Cord make changes

Know which of Cord's changes it makes at once, which wait for you, and how to take one back.

Updated

Cord can do things as well as answer: make a task, rename a file, draft an invoice. Some changes it makes straight away; others wait for you.

Made at once

When you plainly ask for a change that stays inside the company and can be taken back, such as creating a task or moving a file, Cord makes it and shows it as done. Select Undo to take it back.

Waiting for you

Anything else waits on a card that says what will happen, such as "Send the invoice" to a named client. That covers anything that:

  1. leaves the company or speaks for you to others,
  2. moves money,
  3. can't be taken back, or
  4. changes many things at once.

Something that leaves the company, moves money or can't be taken back is held to send: press and hold the button. The rest is one click. Choose Not now to let it go. Once answered, the card stays as a record.

Reading never waits: Cord only looks at what you yourself can see.
