What your clients see
Know what a client finds when they sign in to the portal, so you can guide them through it.
Updated
When a client signs in, they see your company's name and logo, your welcome line, and only what you have shared with them.
Signing in
Clients set up their access from the invitation email and choose their own password. After that they can sign in with their password, ask for a sign-in link by email (each link works once, for two hours), or add a passkey to sign in faster next time. If they forget their password, Forgot it? on the sign-in page emails them a link to choose a new one.
What's there
- Home: what needs them and what is coming up.
- Projects: each project you shared, with the parts you switched on: progress, files, meetings, messages and forms.
- Proposals, Invoices and To sign: their documents with you. Proposals and invoices show unless you turn that off for the client.
- Your account: their password, passkeys and the light or dark look.
Messages
When Messages is on for a project, what a client writes arrives in the project's channel with the client in Chat, and your replies show in the portal.
