Change or reset your password
Choose a new password from your profile, or reset it from the sign-in page when you've forgotten it.

Your password is yours alone; admins can't see or set it. Change it from your profile, or reset it if you can't sign in.
Change your password
- Open your user menu and go to Profile › Security.
- Under Password, enter your Current password.
- Enter a New password and type it again in Confirm new password.
- Select Change password.
Every other device you're signed in on is signed out. The one you're using stays signed in.
Reset a forgotten password
- On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?.
- Enter the email you sign in with.
- Open the link in the email and choose a new password.
The link lasts one hour. If you've confirmed a recovery email, the same link goes there too, so you can reset your password even when you can't read your work mail. See /help/account-and-security/sign-in-and-recovery-email.
What makes a good password
A password must be at least 10 characters, not only letters, and not one of the common ones people guess. A password manager makes this easy. For more protection, turn on two-step verification or add a passkey.
