Run an outreach campaign
Build a lead list, write a sequence of emails and launch a campaign that sends from your sales mailboxes.
Updated
Outreach writes to people who don't know you yet. It works with leads, lists of leads, and campaigns that send a sequence of emails from your sales mailboxes.
Get your leads in
- Open Outreach, then Leads.
- Press New lead to add one, or Import to read a spreadsheet of leads and organisations.
- Pick leads and use Add to list to put them in a named list. Campaigns go to lists.
Build the campaign
Press New campaign in Campaigns. A draft walks you through its tabs with Next:
- Details: a name and who it is for.
- Audience: the lead lists it goes to.
- Mailboxes: the sales mailboxes it sends from.
- Settings: sending days and hours, time zone, daily limits and tracking.
- Sequence: the steps. Add emails, waits, a condition such as Opened the last email?, Wait for a reply, and endings. A step can move an interested lead to the CRM with a first deal.
- Launch: a list of checks. Each one that fails points to the tab to fix. When all pass, press Launch.
Mail goes out only within its hours, within each mailbox's daily limit.
While it runs
Overview shows what went out and what came back; People shows each lead's place in the sequence. Pause stops sending (replies still arrive) and Resume starts again. A campaign can also be paused by a mailbox's health.
Replies
When a lead replies, their sequence stops. Replies gather under Mail in Outreach, sorted into folders, and you answer from the same mailbox.
